Why would you use a furnace liner?

SNM holds together and will outlast your typical ceramic fiber and boards. We pre-shrink the fiber for all internal furnace applications. The material pre-shrink silica blanket will increase tensile strength by five times after being heated. Here is a good example; a one inch silica mat can be soaked in water and still maintain it's characteristics vs. ceramic fiber just rips in pieces when it is exposed to water which brings you too a durability issue. The only way to upgrade your furnace is to acquire Pyro Shields own SNM Blankets.

We produce furnace modules, panel gaskets, and seals for many type of furnaces. We also have silica blocks and boards for higher temp furnace duct work and exhaust systems. We use pre-shrunk SNM as a ceramic paper replacement. These items are a refractory replacement.

We offer furnace panels for the construction of temporary furnaces around those projects where the application calls for this type of heating, whether it be a one time or one project disposable furnace.

Silica Bricks
Those for coke ovens are manufactured by well controlling the gain size, carefully monitoring the transformation of tridymite and the amount of risidual silica, and by using a wide range of materials and fabrication methods. General-purpose bricks are manufactured in different product types for use in a variety of furnaces such as hot-blast stoves, glass furnaces, etc.
